Saturday Villares de Órbigo to Murias de Rechivaldo

Another day, another 17 km. We are moving slowly across Spain but nevertheless we are moving.

We had a nice continual breakfast at Albergue El Encanto and left about 7:30 only to be waved down by one of the townspeople offering us another breakfast. So hard to say no to this wonderful man Gumersindo

Now there is a name for you! So we had a 2nd breakfast with him, gave him some € and after a pleasant conversation involving no common language, we headed out the door.

we arrived in Murias De Rechivaldo. We were greeted by these beautiful flowers that are actually berries of some sort.

Our Albergue of choice happened to be vegetarian so our dinner was a delicious one made up of vegetable soup, vegetable lasagna and tiramisu. We must be on an off circuit course as this is the second Albergue in a row where we were among  the very few pilgrims. Okay by me. No waiting for showers or toilet.

By the way, I here will mention my friend Marty who has turned out to be a great traveling partner. We have traveled together for about 3 weeks now and we move at the same pace. A very nice lady from Canada — the Western side British Columbia. We are helping each other and I will be sorry to see her leave on the 10th of October for home.
