Oh Hello! 250 miles under my belt.

What a couple of days! The weather is gorgeous, the people are great and the wine flows! Sunrise was awesome
We walked through an area that used to have a lot of vineyards. Discovered lots of “bodegas.”  These are little holes in the ground, somewhat like fruit cellars, that were made specifically to house wine
Just look at this beautiful countryside. What an awesome planet we live on
We entered the city of Saghun THE HALFWAY point in the Camino. Yay! I have hiked 250 miles., or about 450 km here is me at the halfway point

Sunday night at sundown was the beginning of Jewish New Year. This is my new friend Adi Krotman from Israel doing what she never does but just to celebrate the new year. Shana Tova!!

Later that night Adi’s mettle was tested when she came to the aid of a sick pilgrim who had unknowingly eaten banana ice cream - Judy is allergic to bananas and had a violent reaction. Adi took her to the ER where all was set right. I told Adi that she was a saint for helping out and she oooh poo’d me so I said, “you’re right! Jews don’t have saints.” But in fact I’m sure they have Angels and Adi is one!
