On our way!!

Things went too much like clockwork!

After a great night sleep - thank you vitamin A! I said goodby to Ceilidh and Russ :-( and I headed out at 8 am to pick up my traveling partner Cirila. Then it was off to the Reno Amtrak station for our date with the Greyhound Bus to SF. After some confusion about where EXACTLY we were going, we found the correct spot! In case you need to know, yes, the bus does pick up at the Amtrak station.

Haven’t done that since college! What a slice of life. Turns out that the guy I sat next to is on his way to Lisbon To do his Camino from Porto! What a coincidence.

We arrived in San Francisco and after some work on the phone found our way to Embarcadero Bart Station where for $9.15 we rode to San Francisco International airport and found our airline, checked in and made our way through security. Next stop? The bar of course!

We will be boarding in about 2 hours so this is the final post from me in this country. Going to put this on airplane mode and hopefully fire it up in Spain with a new SIM card. Wish me luck!
