My knee needed a short day and I didn’t relish the thought of a big town so I opted to stop short of Logrono in the small village of Viana. Here is the sunrise at my back when I turned around at about 8am leaving Los Arcos.
The day seemed long because it was hot. Fortunately there were a couple of informal road side stands where offerings were made to thirsty, hungry pilgrims (for a price of course). They were most welcome. One of the stops had a display of the vendor’s store-art work.
I arrived in Viana and was ushered to a bottom bunk in the back of the room. This albergue had gender shared bathroom facilities which didn’t make me too happy. What do you want for 10€ a night? Had the pilgrim dinner at the albergue for another 10€ and crashed.

You are an awesome lady and the best friend too!♥️😘
